Button Foundry is an offline tool for creating a consistent set of UI button images. Choose a preset, change the label, shape and colors, then export normal, hover, pressed and disabled states together.

Inspect a real output first

The free example-states.zip contains four SVG states, CSS and example.html with a working hover/press/focus preview. The paid ZIP includes the editor for making your own sets.

Practical details

Buttons range from 100–700 px wide and 32–180 px high. Labels support 60 characters and shrink approximately to fit. SVG labels remain editable text using system sans-serif fonts; fonts are not bundled or outlined. Inspect long labels, non-Latin text and color contrast. PNG uses browser rendering at 2× dimensions.

The CSS handles standard web states; add your own actions. This is not an engine plugin, UI framework, animation tool or nine-slice generator. Save settings JSON before closing; there is no autosave.

Extract the ZIP and open Button Foundry.html in a recent desktop browser. No installation, account, subscription or internet is needed. Tool and presets are MIT-licensed, with commercial use under the license notice. Code, design, icons and presets were made with AI assistance. No external libraries, icon packs or font files are bundled.
